I have a few mil-surp guns that are unfired because I'm in the slow process of removing cosmoline from their stocks. I also went and fired 3 guns for the first time yesterday. The above does not constitute legal advice. I am not your lawyer.

1, ruger security six 2" .357 bought nib in 1988 put away, then due to other things in life forgot about it, found it 2 years ago and still have not shot it, having to much fun with other toys.sigpic

It happens; commemoratives, collectibles, stuff like that. Weird calibers that aren't readily available.
Eventually I'll pick up some 13mm Gyrojet rounds and I'll be able to fire my rocket launcher finally!/Chris
I have a perfect Burning Man attendance record: zero.
You do know there are more guns in the country than there are in the city.

My grandfather willed me his unfired mid 1960s Remington 700 in 30-06. It has a custom walnut and maple monte carlo stock and a scope on it. It is beautiful. To compel a man to subsidize with his taxes the propagation of ideas which he disbelieves and abhors is sinful and tyrannical.

3A few BP guns 'cuase, I just haven't got around to shooting them yet. Of course, a couple are still in kit form. One is an original (1820s-1830s) .22 inline ML that I got about a month ago. Last weekend I picked up some .22 NAA bullets at the Cabella's in Reno that I'm going to try. But, it may take another month or two to get that old thing out to the range. And then there's the Sten and AK kits that still need to be built. Do those count?
