I have a few mil-surp guns that are unfired because I'm in the slow process of removing cosmoline from their stocks. I also went and fired 3 guns for the first time yesterday.

1, ruger security six 2" .357 bought nib in 1988 put away, then due to other things in life forgot about it, found it 2 years ago and still have not shot it, having to much fun with other toys.

Thieves are the lowest form of life out there, except for liberal politicians, of course, but that's redundant.

It happens; commemoratives, collectibles, stuff like that. Weird calibers that aren't readily available.

Eventually I'll pick up some 13mm Gyrojet rounds and I'll be able to fire my rocket launcher finally!

My grandfather willed me his unfired mid 1960s Remington 700 in 30-06. It has a custom walnut and maple monte carlo stock and a scope on it. It is beautiful.

But, it may take another month or two to get that old thing out to the range. And then there's the Sten and AK kits that still need to be built. Do those count?
