Well technically I wouldn't be surprised to learn that my Romanian AK from 1986 has had several thousands of rounds through it.

Nah, the gun the parts kit came from should have been test-fired and sighted at the arsenal when it was manufactured.

Romy G from 86? It's possible that it was only fired at the factory.

A few BP guns 'cuase, I just haven't got around to shooting them yet. Of course, a couple are still in kit form. One is an original (1820s-1830s) .22 inline ML that I got about a month ago. Last weekend I picked up some .22 NAA bullets at the Cabella's in Reno that I'm going to try. But, it may take another month or two to get that old thing out to the range. And then there's the Sten and AK kits that still need to be built. Do those count?

Bring them home and get them shooting ASAP. Especially when they are NIB because some come with a 30 day warranty.
