CALGUNS on Craigslist

I use craigslist but I would rather keep that rif raf out of my firearms website. I know we need as much 2A support as we can get, but this worries me. Yes 2A is for everyone, but I perfer to purchase & speek with people of the same caliber & ethics. Its probably just me thinking I was part of an exclusive club.

Going off topic a lil here, but do home-built pistols (ARs, handguns) need to be registered?

To my knowledge, no. Not if you build it yourself (no help from anyone else). You must be able to legally posess & be of legal age. You are not allowed to build one with the intent of selling it to another person. There are several theads with a lot more info than I have. Try the search engine or wait for a higher educated person to chime in & post a link on the subject.

Wouldnt/Couldnt Goober be opening up calguns up to litigation if he was to sell it to someone who then built this rifle into an illegal config? He is implying in the post that this is a calguns sponsored event/item when he is conducting/sponsoring an Group buy not sponsored/affiliated with Calguns

"Group buy on Calguns", "off the books", message "goober", can't say Goober is actual the one who posted this. Although the 2A is not ours alone, it's disturbing. I would like for people to be on this forum for their love of our Constitutional right, not a super ninja way of not having to register a firearm. The public mentioning of calguns is the way to obtain a legally unregistered (so to speak) firearm might draw us a crowd that is less than desirable. What do the Mods think? No they cannot control CL.
