Tomorrow, there is legislation being enacted that restricts firearms ownership to only 2 guns per household. It can be whatever you want (handgun, shotgun, musket, rifle, etc) in any combination you want but only 2 guns total.
You can order as many replacement parts for it like springs, pins, hammers, grips, but NOT the caliber.
If you had to thin your collection thus, what would be your 2 choices?
I think I would probably go with a Sig P228 or P226 in 357 SIG and a Noveske AR-10 (can change barrel length but not caliber). Of course I'm a gun noobie so those seem like good choices to me of the guns I've tried. I'm interested in reading what people choose.
This isn't some SHTF situation so you don't have to worry about the living dead, diseased infidels, alien invasion, or fighting men in black helos. This also somewhat negates the need for trying to choose a particularly common caliber.
