        Haha.

Personally, if I had kids, I wouldn't mind one bit. If at the end of the day, you can tell yourself you did your best in raising them, that's all you can do.

If, however, they were tearing up targets and playing/pointing with the rubber display CTC guns in inappropriate ways, I just wouldn't allow them to come with me anymore. I would still go there.

Or you can always go positive reinforcement if you have to be taking care of them. Can be as simple as getting them a small treat after, a little $2 toy, or something that they enjoy.

I realize most people don't need parenting lessons but im just typing my simple thoughts spewing out of my mind.

Meh, my kids are usually with me. Bought a Mosquito recently wanted to make sure it was a good fit for my son before I dropped the cash. If its an uncommon thing with your kid and the lgs wasn't a d*** about it I wouldn't worry too much aboit it

As long as they did not break anything or act terrible don't fret it, the gun store employees won't remember you anyway.

I bring my three boys with me all the time. If they dont want anything touched by kids then simply put a sign on the entrance that says no kids allowed. Otherwise screw them and find another place.

I bring my 4 and 5 year old in all of the time too. One of the LGS's even gave my kids foam revolver cut out guns. So far the LGS's in Sac and Rocklin seem to be cool with kids coming in. I also bring them to the old range I used to work at, where I'll be taking them shooting this Spring.

I take my 3 yr old with me all the time. He likes looking at the long guns on the wall and the handguns in the display cases.

He doesn't make a mess or cause a scene, but I'll feel bad for him if the wait it taking a crazy long time since he'll start to get bored or tired.
