Would like an M&P but don't care for the trigger, yeah I'm aware of the Apex trigger but prefer pure stock for carry guns.
Don't know if this was directed at the OP or me, but mine definitely has the improved reset. There's no missing it. My shell casing was dated 12/2012 FWIW.

If I were you, I would not pass this up. I would not let this go by...this is rare.

It was for anyone. Glad to hear they're becoming available. Time to hit the stores this weekend. Thanks.

Congrats 4xholic, looks like a fine pistol. I was at turners (FV) yesterday and they had one of those there too. Although it was just getting purchased.

I'm still a newbie, so not sure. I got my M&P at Spencers (Fresno/Madera). I plan on getting a couple extra mag's in the future, if I find a source I'll post it.

Great choice. Glad to see you went with an M&P. Love them. It is a long 10 days but it will be worth it when you get it home.

I have shot both quite a bit, but currently own just Glock in 9mm.
You would not have gone wrong with either. They are more similar than dissimilar. S&W's M&P has a nice feeling grip and the basic design is based on Glock's

Would advise your take a 1 or 2 day training course on defensive weapon handling.

                      And enjoy!

That really makes me feel better about buying the 10 that I did when they were $20...I thought I had over bought

I like both M&P as well as Glock pistols. I do own more Glocks, though. So maybe I'm biased in a way.

I bought the M&P a while ago for the g/f (so she could have her own handgun). She has since, switched to a Sig. Now the M&P 9 comes along as my spare range gun.
