Glock or S&W - which did I get?

This is not a thread about which is better, but about what I ending up getting. I'm really new to guns, and this is my first gun purchase. I've shot several guns through the year, but not extensively - probably have less than 500 rounds under my belt.
So I recently decided to buy a gun and sense I've shot a Glock 19 in the past I figured that would work. While I was in the gun shot (first time ever in a shop) and finding out how rare guns are getting, they showed my a M&P9. I've never heard of a M&P, nor most other guns for that matter. So the research began, and as most of you know, there are tons of battle threads and youtube videos.
Today I received a call from the shop saying they had a M&P9c, so I went to check it out. So happens they also had a Glock 19 (already sold) - now I could do a side by side comparison. For my tiny hands, the M&P9c was extremely comfortable. The Glock didn't feel as good, I was bummed as I really wanted a "Glock". Being a newbie I can say this, the name just sounds cool.
Because I don't have alot of experience shooting, I'm not partial to either when it comes to how the gun shoots, etc... I figure which ever I get, I will learn how to handle it.

So, I bought the M&P9c!! Now I have the 10 day wait

I've never shot a Glock but I love my M&P40. It's a tri-caliber pistol cause you can put a 9mm conversion barrel in it and it'll shoot 9s with a factory 9mm magazine. You can also put a .357 Sig factory barrel in it and the 40 magazine is also marked with .357 so you don't even need a different mag.

I absolutely love my M&P9c. I try to love my Glocks as much as my M&P... and it's hard to do. I really want a 40c now too.

Considering the demand for M&Ps right now, definitely consider yourself lucky for getting one. They are absolutely fantastic.

Same story for me, although I haven't been able to put rounds through it yet. I've already set my eyes on the 9c for when I get my CCW, or better yet, the all elusive Shield 9mm.

I have the M&P9 for a few years now. Shot about 2000 rounds and have not had one problem. I am going to buy two "shields" .40 once they come avail in CA because the design is flawless.
