No and I am sure others have said this (without reading the whole thread).
Any employee can carry a firearm at work with the permission of the owner. The owner of a business can carry a conceled weapon on their person.
Any employee can with permission from the owner have a loaded firearm in a desk, drawer, cabinet or whatever. The firearm need not be locked up, but just like at home, if a minor gets a hold of it, you and the owner are on the hook.
So to the OP. If your boss give you permission you can keep a loaded firearm at your desk. No other person can have access to it, since you don't know if they are prohibited or not. You should explain that to the boss and have a lock on the drawer that only you have access too.
