I will no longer ship an item until I have received payment.

I did this several times and it was never an issue, but had one bad experience recently and will never do it again.

There are some shady people here, it sucks but it is what it is.

He could have used a fake name, address to pick item up, and a fake email. Chances are he did so it's probably a lost case.

Unsure about address and email but a certain Mikhail Gouldson is active on the Internet from NJ and fits the profile of a early to mid 20s guy.

OP if this is all true why have you not left him a negative feedback? This is the best way to let others know if a guy is not on the up and up.

Don't if I'm going thru that now. Paid a calgunner around Christmas and still haven't got it. Contacted the seller and he said that he will check his work bench. Maybe it was just left behind, he says. That was 2 weeks ago. Ope he gets to read this post.

This is not a HOAX nor am I making up a case
I have all our emails saved
I was selling/trading a New Spikes BCG & CH
And he shown interest and we agreed on the deal for my stuff for his iPhone 5
As exchange of details and information was complete
We agreed to ship our items on Jan 23
As I was working I can ship late that day
He told me that he had shipped the iPhone like an hour earlier
Though he haven't given me tracking details as it was his daughter's birthday making him busy
So I shipped mine, USPS Priority with signature confirmation, ASAP to at least match his alleged timely shipment. I have receipt
After that I forwarded him tracking details and after he confirmed with me that he did see that it is on its way
He never again replied to my PM's and emails.
I was still waiting at least until he receives the BCG if he dont like it he can just have it returned to me
But on my tracking it was signed for by him, so he accepted it
And still never did he messaged me

So I'm just posting my experience with him, MIKHAIL

Sucks getting screwed on a deal, hopefully it catches up to him in the end.

Maybe not all of Oakland is ghetto, but when I've gone through there, in a car and on the BART, it didn't look too ritzy to me. don't be touchy man, if somebody said to me,"fresno is *** end of the world." I'd name a few places worse but would admit we're definitely in the crack.
