    Big Reno Show

If you're coming from CA, expect the possibility of snow across the top of Donner Pass on Friday into Saturday morning.

If it's a Big Reno Show, then yes.

Good news! Weather prediction changed and you oughtta have clear sailing coming in and going out across the top of the Sierra. Hope to see some of you here.

EVEN YOU IGGY! I know you're not with BOF anymore and are now working deep undercover on SFPD's Golden Gate Park late night public restroom patrol now, but maybe you can come out anyway for old time's sake?

yep...i've been tracking the weather and i don't anticipate any snow friday morning on my way to reno! i've got a 4wd, but with gas prices through the roof, we're renting a car for the trip. i snowboard and frequently head into the sierras and this weather system looks to be a weak one with only 30% chance of precipitation. if you're hesitant, no worries...cal-trans does a pretty good job of keeping hwy 80 in great shape when it begins to snow, which won't even happen!

defintiely not as big as the Vegas show, but its a darn good size show compared to any here in california. Two really large sized rooms that definitely take a full day to go thru and check things out. Two days for a thorough walkthru.

Lots of C&Rs at the Big Reno Show. Gun shops in Reno are kinda mundane. Here's some options:

                          1. Mark, Fore & Strike on Kietzke
                          2. Bizarre Guns -- 2677 Oddie Boulevard (Hilarious TV commercials)
                          3. Silver State Guns on Kietzke (they have a big C&R rack)
                          4. The Gun Trader -- E. Plumb Lane (Never been there)
                          5. Cabela's at exit 4 on I-80 right after you cross the state line. Big gun library, sometimes they have interesting stuff.

Thanx for the info, were heading out tomorrow from Beale. I hope Miwall is stocked up with .30 carbine, if not it may be time to buy an upper for my first OLL build.
