i called and they told me it should ship out by the end of the month. he didn't sound too confident. glad that i bought because i wanted more and not because i needed more.

Ordered from Natchez on 1/9 and have not heard anything since. But when I placed the order it was clearly stated:

Due to an extremely high volume of orders, we are currently experiencing longer than normal order processing and shipping times.

Please allow 8-10 business days for your order to be processed and shipped. Upon shipment, you will receive an email with your order tracking information.

I never updated on this.. my order shipped on the 9th business day and I received it about a week later. Happy camper.

I placed two orders @ sportsmansguide in late December. The ammo was already on back order to February. Have already received the emails that the back order date is now mid July. Glad my stock is decent.

Ordered 1k of 9mm from Great Lakes Ammo on 1\20. Talked to them yesterday and after the storm passes, they hope to get our several thousand rounds of ammo.

Seems like the turn around time is getting better not by much, gonna have to wait and see what happens

about how long did you wait? we're coming up on the end of the month and i haven't heard anything yet. i'll be calling again in a few days i suppose.

i've said it a few times to a few friends who seem to be in dire need of ammo...i'm glad i bought ammo just to have more and not because i NEEDED it. i'd be pissed if i was down to my last 10 rounds and still hadn't received my purchase after 2 months.

Well, my *hoped* February delivery of 1k of 9mm from Great Lakes Ammo has not happened.

To their benefit, they have done a great job with communication. They routinely send out emails stating that they have received components and will get some orders out.

Sadly, like most manufactures (reloaders) now, like BulletMan, Freedom and others, they are having a hard time receiving components. Great Lakes has been very nice in offering credit card refunds to anyone who wants them.

I just use ammoseek and buy a case. Overpriced? For now. Vendors with live stock updates? Yes.

I paid the "now tax" for a couple cases of .45 It was delivered to my door in 4 days, no sales tax (although I obviously will report the use tax next year), and best of all....not having to enter a Walmart.
