We need to come up with a term who spend too much time worrying about what other people do at the range. I find when I go, I pretty much just pay attention to myself and whoever I brought with me and couldn't care less about the people around me, other than to make sure they are safe and I am behaving safely out of respect for them.

He must have been the first 10 yo in the Army and a officer at that.

Then he went on to break down why whatever the person was shooting was junk....

Yeah I saw this guy in his 30's not to long ago wearing the hat that said Vietnam vet. He was asking for money or some ****, I was going to tell him to **** off and stop being a disgrace to our REAL vets, but decided not to waste my time yelling at a junkie.

70% i would need to bring a truck. then if i did shoot 70% of my guns it would take forever to clean them all. on saturday i took 8 guns to the range. Those 8 guns too fricken forever to clean. im never going to take that much. if i took all 23 of my guns to the range i dont know first of all i dont even think i would have the time to shoot them all its just tooo many guns. in all i only try to bring what im going to shoot. Regardless of the cost when i go to the range to go shooting thats what i do. Im not there for a car show or a gun show. I believe there are good places for that. Kinda like when you go shooting with the .50 cal guys. i mean they are a nice bunch of guys. its pretty cool to see them shoot those .50's. However most of the time you sit or stand at the rear bench just talking it up. while the guns sit on the forward benches.

I remember once I was zeroing my Fal, and some guy with a shirt labeled "SWAT" comes up to me and talks about the superiority of his scoped Springfield M1A. The guy seemed like he reads soldier of fortune magazine everyday (He was wearing black BDU with Puma shoes) and has no other life concerns, He just could not understand that I did not care about how accurate his rifle was and his custom trigger and parts. He seemed as I was acting in an unpatriotic manner by not wanting to own an M1, I just prefer a Fal in .308 . I admit , his rig was more then likely more accurate then my Fal, but I simply do not care, and that's what really irked the guy. Sad dude, unfortunately it is these characters I see in the 100 yard range side that tend to add all sorts of "tactical" junk on their rifles.

Their is no shame in adding all the junk into the rifle, it's just that some people need to examine as to why they add their accessories onto their units, if it's for selected function, everyone would agree with such an endeavor, but it is for looks and attention, that person has problems of a deeply personal nature.

I had a guy come up to me and tell me I had damaged the integrity of the 7.62x51 round because I had a 16in barrel and not a 26in. He said my gun was pointless. I LMAO!!!!!

Yep, I've run into those losers as well. Actually had one guy refer to himself as an "operator" and his time at the range he called "work".

I always bring a number of guns to the range in case the mood hits me to fire them. I'm usually there to fire a specific weapon, lately it's the 1911 because I want to get proficient with at least one gun as my primary, but then I'll think, hey, I want to shoot xyz and if I didn't bring it, I get mad. I don't however take them out of their cases unless I'm shooting them, and I try to put everything away after shooting it to keep the bench from getting cluttered. Then after I'm done and I've shot like 5 or 6 of my guns, I tell myself I'm going to clean them, and I never do.
