If you are shooting a model 19,27,28 25 625 Smith and people don't stop it just shows they don't know what they are looking at. Same for the P7M8

All of them get my attention.
I move slow but I make up for it by shooting poorly.

When I hit the lotto I'm only shooting factory.

i cant imagine if GOSPARX took all his guns out.
i think he has enough guns to supply each person at the range.

i used to take all of em out, but then i start getting lazy and only bring what i feel like shooting. cause most of the time when i bring them all, i mostly shoot just 2. plus, its a hassle walking back and forth from my parking to my apartment.

I love when people bring their .500s to the range when I'm working. It never fails to drive someone out of the range and to the counter asking me: what is that thing and why does someone need one? I usually reply with something about them being great plane guns for Alaska or just good bear guns. Then I say something about here they are just small p***s compinsators. At which time the customer will crack a small grin. Next, I ask: "Hey, do you want to see my new gun?" Of course, the answer is always "yes". So, I'll pull out one of my NAA revolvers. It's always good for a laugh.

BTW, I'm really insecure too and I own 50BMGs so, ...........well, you can figure out the truth if you want to.

Had a nice blue S&W Model 27 with the 8-3/8" tube. That got some attention along with some fancy wood grips on my Single-Six. My S&W .44 magnum has raised some eyebrows at times. Like has been said before, if you want to be a total rock star at the range, get one of the 454/460/475/500 magnum handcannons. Somebody has been bringing one of the 2" S&W .460 bear guns to United Sportsman lately. DAMN!

When I go to the range, I just want to be left the heck alone. When I take my Garand, it usually gets compliments, but it is really annoying when people start trying to strike up a conversation as I'm trying to shoot.
                    Maybe I'm just antisocial

I stopped going to public ranges because of the people you're talking about. Now I just go to action pistol ranges where most people have better gun handling skills than 90% of the public. That and bacame a range office so I can go shoot when nobody else is at the range
                      where are my pistol mags?

                        O.K. I'll play.

I'm a range housewife: I buy Glocks that are affordable and shoot the hell out of them; via training, competition and range time.

My Glocks are used and fondled. She does everything including cleaning the toilet. Who wants a whore who can do nothing but sit on the couch eating bon-bons? I want a range housewife that will not only do the chores, but please me every time we go to the range. I always tap that brass baby!

You must love cleaning!! I try to limit it to two. A few times I have taken four when going with friends and family, but then I'm cleaning for days.

Usually when I take the S&W500 and I get the classic remark about 'compensating' I just inform them that I'm not compensating, I'm just use to handling something that size!! (of course I usually pull out my NAA .22lr as well!)

Of course I do have to admit that I have a little fetish going for the .50s I've got a BMG, a 50AE DE, 2 S&W500's, a GI 50 1911 and the newest addition a Beowulf 50 AR. I've been tempted to make a Beowulf 50 AR pistol... but even I think that would be a bit extreme!!!

I also get less crap about the 500 when I hit steel at 400 yards with it! (free hand, iron sights... but I do cheat and lean up against the table and it usually takes me a couple of shots to get zeroed in)

But on the other hand, one of my favorite guns to shoot is the PS90. Its just so comfy to hold and has such cute little bullets!
If you know how many guns you have... you don't have enough guns.

People need to remember that the same guys who wrote the 1st Amendment, also wrote the 2nd Amendment... and for the same exact reasons.
