I had one stolen 1/26/12 and that hurts . But you having your whole collection stolen is tragic. Good luck. You can file to find all the serial numbers of firearms you legally purchased with a 4473 form filed if you don't have the numbers.Comment

I have a life long friend out in Anaheim, CA. that had his home broken into before moving to Anaheim. 3-4 years later, he was contacted by LEO's, who had recovered one of his Belgium Browning over/under shotguns, and he now keeps it and many others, in a locked and bolted down, and alarmed gun safe. Of the 4 that were stolen, that is the only one to date that was recovered, and it has now been 12+ years or so. Also, his home owners insurance did cover some of the replacement costs, but I have no clue as to how much.
I sincerely hope the author of this thread gets at least a few of his returned. Good Luck.sigpicSee Ya Out There!

I understand your feelings. Someone thieved a bunch of stuff from my business and it was very hard mentally. Luckily I took my Glock home for the night. I found out that insurance covers a lot so make a claim.Comment

Not necessarily someone you personally know; when said as someone you know, it typically means someone you might remotely know in passing:Originally posted by driderSaying someone you knew stole it from you, is not valid. What they told me also but not true!
- a contractor you had at the house to do some work,
- carpet installers,
- your long-time loyal cleaning lady's one-time assistant from the temp service who tipped off her boyfriend to what was in your home,
- your gardener's assistants like the former,
- supposed "friends" of your teenage daughter or son
- a neighbor that knows your comings and goings, etc.
- a neighbor that heard you casually mention you own firearms
- someone from where you work that heard you casually mention you own firearms
- a parasite that was scavenging through your trash for bottles and cans and found discarded ammunition boxes and gun magazines thus assuming you owned guns.

If some level of government had that information, what would they do with it? How would having that info benefit public safety? How would it benefit law enforcement?Comment

I know. Someone asked if he was making a sick joke, and someone else suggested he just made a mistake, and thought there were guns for sale, since the post was in the marketplace. My thought was, if he was just looking to buy the gun, he shouldn't be looking in a thread titled, "Stolen guns."
Has the OP talked to his neighbors? Does the OP have a killer in the backyard? Nothing happens on my street without the old folks gossiping. They seem to notice every single car that passes through. Also, nothing happens in my alley without my killers waking the neighborhood. If there's someone back there, EVERYONE within ear shot knows about it. They were instrumental in the apprehension of the neighborhood firewood thief.WTB Oakhurst stamped CZ firearms
