As a business owner that is crap customer service.

    Protip for businesses everywhere:

UPS lost your order so we are sending you a new one.
Sorry for the inconvenience and thank you for your business.

Seems legit, keep in mind PSA is probably one of the busiest online black rifle/gun vendors who are busy all the time, ESPECIALLY this time of year. I'm sure it will get sorted out, they fixed an order of mine that wasn't nearly as expensive as yours. Good luck

I spend way too much money with PSA to pass them up.

On another note: I'd like to know the number of claims for "lost or stolen" items that are received by UPS and Fedex each year, mainly due to their practice of leaving an item without personal contact upon delivery as it was years ago.

I've had them leave uppers leaning against the door, I had two $600 cameras left on the porch overnight. In all those cases shipping required signature on delivery. When I contacted the businesses, they shrugged it off and said "how they deliver is their business".
You may not like guns, and choose not to own one. That is your right. You might not believe in God. That is your choice. However, if someone breaks into your home, the first two things you're going to do are, 1) Call someone with a gun, 2) Pray they get there in time.

Give them another chance, I am one of the first to say their CS sucks...but they do make it right when they are wrong and they do sell great stuff.

If your really a stickler for CS, check out Marsh and Primary Arms.

Having worked in in my own businesses in the past, and having been in a similar situation as the seller (PSA in this case), here's what we had done in the past.

PSA should send another upper to the buyer, and then deal with UPS on their own. They need to tell the shipping company that if the package is found, to deliver it back to PSA and not to the buyer or to any other address. If the package is deemed lost, then the claim should be closed and the shipping company should cut a check to PSA for the amount it was insured for. That's one reason why we always insured packages for more than what they were worth, since it's a hassle but in the end it makes up for it.

UPS & FedEx were good with their claims, but DHL gave us a hard time. Forget about USPS. But this was about 6 years ago since I was doing this.

should send the buyer another upper, knowing that UPS is already going forward with the claim and that they will eventually be paid out for it.

That being said, I've ordered numerous things from PSA and a couple of uppers in the past. Hadn't had any issues with them yet, and they've always put a signature required on my packages (even though I asked them not to).

I really like PSA but a month is a really long time to wait for something. It usually doesn't take more that a week or so to get something anywhere in the US via ground service. I sell mainly on Amazon and the customer would have had their product or their money back long ago (You can file an A-Z claim as soon as something is late). I still really like PSA but this is one area they seem to be wrong.

Call your credit card company and dispute the charge.

I`ve had plenty of Purchases from PSA & Phone discussions. They can be very slow with Rifles, but always Deliver. Not sure what actually Happened, but they`ll make good. IMO, Cant expect to simply ship another upper out, they`d go Broke.

Process may suck, but sometimes life`s about being Humble. Stuff Happens, I don`t blame anyone for being upset.

PSA has great prices and their uppers are quality workmanship. That said, I've ordered from them twice, they screwed up both orders and took 6 weeks or longer to fix it in both cases. The last one actually took a threat to dispute the charge with the credit card company. I'd love to keep giving them my business but I'm done until they get their act together.

If a business cant handle simple correspondence and due diligence when it comes to shipping, i like to think i should cut my losses and look for another vendor that can properly handle the clerical side of business with some common courtesy.

I've had the same issue with..
PSA, Sarco, Phoenix Arms, SG Ammo, PRK Arms, target sports usa, jack ross ammo, bulletman911 etc.
