It wasn't just the title, the original cut with the 'Leon' title is actually more tense with the undertones (think pedophilia), there were scenes and parts removed for the US release that removed that undercurrent from the movie, not thinking the US market could handle it. Gary Oldman is the best bad guy EVAR.
