I'm tagging this, as I did see the original CGN thread about this upper and even considered buying it.

Got to tell you, this kinda sh1t gets my blood boiling and you guys are taking it a lot better than I would. I would have contacted my CC company and the BBB by now.

Due to customer demand, the BCG has been an optional add on dating back to when our new website launched early this year. We apologize if the wording on the webpage was less than clear, because that was not our intention. The invoice for the orders of those affected specifically lists a stripped upper and does not mention any BCG included:

PSA 16'' Hammer Forged Mid-Length Upper
      SKU: 8956U-23813-8956-23808-436

The invoice is pretty clear that no BCG was purchased or included. However, customer satisfaction is our goal. I will forward your order information to customer service so that they can assist you.

The item description and page overview stated information for a carpenter 158 full auto BCG... That is what it said when i placed the order... There was no option for a BCG at all, nor did it ever say no BCG included...
Yes, the invoice does not say a BCG is included, or not included.... BUT the invoice is given to me AFTER you have my money...

also, all of the other options DO NOT have information in the overview, or item description..

So an ex-employee of PSA gave wrong information to a prospective buyer and now that she is no longer with PSA, they are not responsible for it? The only option you're giving the buyer is a 10% refund fee, how do you even justify that?

I don't know what you are talking about, or where you are even getting your information from. No where did I ever state that we were not responsible, or that we were refunding the customer. I don't appreciate you instigating with false information.

I think that post was posed as a hypothetical question to the OP
              and not bashing PSA.

                Different buyer, same situation.

Read the bottom where that customer was offered a refund with a 10% fee.

I am currently speaking with psa reps about this problem , please dont bash, and let psa attempt to solve this first. They might have to be filled in on info as well

                        UPDATE 10/05/12. 8:30 am pst

I have contacted customer service via telephone, where i spoke to a couple reps, and then relayed to a supervisor. MY personal situation was given, and was cleared up.

I highly encourage anyone with a current issue with PSA, to call their customer service and speak to a rep, or supervisor about your specific situation. It handles it on a more personal level with immediate responses.

PSA did admit to changes on the page of the product i ordered, about confusion, and took care of me accordingly.

+1 for PSA customer service from my personal experience.

It does take a bit of time to get a hold of someone at times, but they have always done right by me. Very cool!

On my PERSONAL case, I will receive the BCG.

I emphasize personal, because I cannot speak for Palmetto on everyone else's case of, Time, product, cost, order, ect..

Good to hear and good on PSA for hearing you out.
I need uppers or parts. I'll go to PSA web page now after hearing this news.
