Wipe off and reapply. Just recently started using it and it is great.

Ive been thinking about switching over to froglube. I'll be using a blow dryer to heat up the medal parts. Do you guys know how long I have to keep the blow dryer going to get the parts hot enough? For my glock, how would I apply the froglube on the polymer? Do I have to heat that up with the blow dryer?

I did it to my M&P using a heat gun instead of hair dryer. Also did multiple applications.

I'm debating if I should do the same to the Baer when it arrives or not. I'm toying with the idea of buying a crock pot and doing the soak.

Nope. I use it on my pistol, shotgun and rifle. Just shoot, wipe and reapply. This stuff eats grease and gunk for breakfast.

Exactly. Don't have a garage or workroom to work in.

That's odd. I was introduced to FL by the OCSD armory when I had to have him check my handguns prior to putting them on my CCW. We were just chatting for a good 1-1 1/2 hours... he even field strip my glock and M&P and showed me how he cleans all the LEO's firearms. He would wipe everything down with a paper towel (those blue mechanic ones), then dip q- tips into Hoppes and get at the crevices. Then he would lube the gun with FL.

Is this wrong because this is what I've been doing since January of this year ?

                        not recommended

FrogLube does not recommend switching back and forth between alkilis and acids. If it works for you, great.

FrogLube Solvent can be used to clean, then use FrogLube to lubricate.

Does the solvent also dissolve the froglube that is already on the surface or does one have to re-apply with more froglube after the solvent?

                            Per their FAQ's

Will FrogLube remove petroleum products, oils and grease?
Yes. FrogLube dissolves carbon and petro-chemicals on contact. You should discontinue use of petroleum or other petrochemicals as it will conflict with the optimal performance of FrogLube.

My understanding is that FAQ is for their CLP product, I am wondering if re-application of CLP is required after using their solvent product.

                                FrogLube Solvent

My understanding is that FL Solvent 'cuts' into the FrogLube, but won't remove it when used on a patch or light application.

If you saturate the gun with the FL Solvent for an extended period, it will remove FrogLube.
