Moral Dilema

About a month ago 1000 rounds for Federal 5.56/223 ammo showed up at my door. I didn't order or pay for it.

I had ordered a small amount of other ammo, but this larger box had my name on it too. I checked my receipt and Credit Card statement. I had not ordered, paid for or even been invoiced for this 1000 rounds.

How many of you would call and send it back? How many would keep it?

I'd call the shipper. I doubt they want it back now.

I mean you opened it right? 'No ammo returns etc...'

I would pace around my living room cursing for awhile. Then call and hope shipping is to costly and they let me keep it. I have had people try and say they never received Packages from my amazon storefront. There is a reason I don't tell people I use delivery comformation.

I would think that was part of someone else's order. I bet they will be calling the dealer about their missing ammo case.

Best case, they let you keep it. Send new order to where ever it was supposed to go.

Worst case, they send you a shipping label and tell you leave it for UPS.

I'd definitely call but I'd also look up the price. Might be a bargain there if you buy it and don't have to pay for shipping.

you are obviously one of the good guys that have a conscience. Call the vendor and tell them what happened and let them tell you how they want it resolved and then take it from there. If you do nothing, it will keep haunting you.
