    Recommend gun for Girlfriend

So I brought up today about me purchasing a gun for my not so fun loving girlfriend and she said that she would shoot it if I bought it for her. Now I don't want to spend a lot of money and I know its probably best to start her off with a 22lr. Anybody out there want to help me out and pick a rifle for her?

I was think a 10/22 with bipod and scope?

    10/22 for the win.

Not sure if that makes me a fanboy, troll or pansy liberal in these parts, but that's what I'd go with.

I just bought my GF a Bersa Thunder .380. She likes it quite a bit and it will be perfect when she gets her LTC in a few months.

          My suggestion, a 9mm 1911. I have never met a person that didn't like my 1911's and especially my 9mm 1911.

Ruger Mark III .22lr pistol. My gf loves it! After shooting a couple of thousand rounds, she was ready to move up to 9mm/.40.

Its a great starter gun to build foundation, technique and especially confidence.

Im suggesting pistol over rifle because most girls i know prefers my .22 pistols over my .22 rifles

Whatever you get make sure you make her shooting experience fun. If she grows to enjoy shooting you have one more thing other than shopping that you can do together. And if you end up getting married, play golf and pray that she hates it.

Seriously, make it fun for her.

Take HER to a gun shop to pick out one that SHE likes. She can shoulder several to find one that fits HER.

I took all the fun out, huh?

Another vote for the 10/22. Every arsenal needs one.

10/22 is good if she just wants you to pick something up. I would recommend, unless she doesn't want to, that you take her to a shop to check some out for herself.

I'm thinking the 10/22 would be the right choose for her, now just have to find one somewhere for cheap

The 10/22 is a great rifle platform to start with.
