      OP, you list as being in Palo Alto. - try giving the guys at Krausewerks a call, they're right up the 101 in San Mateo, easy to get to from the hwy. 650-571-7583 12-5p, Tue -> Sat.

        $65 for a PPT is a big no-no....I suggest a call to the CA DOJ & lodge a complaint

          I had the same issue with Imbert & Smithers. I brought in printouts from the DOJ 'FAQ' and the California penal code. They presented me with printouts of my posts on Calguns, asking me to 'mark the issue as resolved' before they would give me a refund.



          Whatever you do, don't patronize these FFLs. Believe me, they understand the law but are UNWILLING to comply.

            The only problem is that Krausewerks also charges $50 for PPT. I casually mentioned the law on the book to Mike, but he seemed ignored the fact.

              As does Tabor's, they said they could charge $15.00 for paperwork.
