    WTF $65 for a PPT!!

Sportsmans Supply in camden wants to charge me 65 dollars for a PPT for a pistol is that right or am I getting ripped off. Reeds said they would do it for $35 but thats only on tuesdays and thursdays and I forgot to mention that it was a pistol.
Some say that he once mooned two prostitutes just for a round of drinks, but wasn't surprised by the reply......They call him, the Hutch
Some say that he rode a dirtbike 7k miles across the country and that he once applied Bengay to his own testicles for a mere $50............They call him, the Hutch -Top Gear

If they are asking $65 and Reeds is asking $35....sounds like you are to the tune of $30.

Hutch - there are many other places to do PPT's in the Bay Area. Check out this thread:

Are you sure they understood it was a PPT and not an out of state incoming transfer? They may have just had a mental blip and only heard the word "transfer". Most all dealers know the limitations on chrages/fees for PPTs by now.

The maximum legal charge for a PPT in CA is $35.

And there are many FFL's that like to break the law about this in CA.

Big 5 in Menlo Park said they would do it for $35, but I don't know if I can trust them with a gun that's worth 800 bucks.

Big 5 doesn't do handgun transfers. Only long guns.

Go to Rogers Relics or Irvington.
Lord, make my hand fast and accurate.
Let my aim be true and my hand faster
than those who would seek to destroy me.
Grant me victory over my foes and those who wish to do harm to me and mine.
Let not my last thought be 'If I only had my gun."
And Lord, if today is truly the day you call me home, let me die in an empty pile of brass.

Which is exactly what they are trying to make happen.

And when Soldier says professional, he means it.
Just ask Stormfeather and USN Cheif.
I think Soldier has professionally serviced both of them.
