No, they have 5 regular backpacks, one of which is tiny(pygmy falcon), 3 for some reason have no width(but if you loosen the compression straps you can pack them to stick out of your back by a foot, falcon, condor, typhoon), and only 1 backpack that I'd consider "normal"(vulture) while everything else is a fannypack/messenger bag. There are a couple of lightweight models with crappy shoulder straps, but that's not something I'd want to be stuck carrying around every day or for an extended period of time(and the compartments are still tiny). So for all of the $150 bags they make, their selection sucks.

That still doesn't make the midwayusa bags "cheesy", and if anything there has been an argument floating around on the internet for a couple of years now how midwayusa "stole"(probably licensed) their designs from another company that had been popular for years.

      Found some pics
I fell in love with the look of these Swiss ammunition boxes.  To think that a country would have a string of saddle shops stitch together some incredible twill fabric, thick leather, aluminum rive…

This would be kewl as hell toooooo

lol... range bag?? are you serious?

just carry your ammo in its original box, and put it all in a plastic grocery bag. carry your gun in it's case. use a towel and lay it of the range table so your gun doesnt get scratched up.

          Feel better about yourself now?

          Back on topic...

I use a daypack/backpack as well. It was my every day bag until I thought it'd make a great "under the radar" range bag, so I got myself a new daily and repurposed this one.

Has one compartment that has the special zippers on it that's designed to be lockable. I put my pistol rug/case in there with the mags and lock it up, and other pockets hold my mag loader, ears, etc.

As others have said, if you feel you need one, get one. If you don't, then don't. And, if you do, just use what you think will work for you. I honestly feel that the only rules about enjoying shooting are the legal, safety, and maintenance ones. Anything else, do what ya like... as long as it's safe and law abiding and respects other people, shooters and non-shooters alike.
"There's no such thing as an assault rifle," he said. "These are 'military-style rifles' or 'modern sporting rifles.' "

$100 for a range bag? might as well buy a range bag for your pistol case and put that range bag in another range bag.

What grocery store are you shopping at that gives you plastic bags strong enough and large enough to carry enough ammo for a day at the range for a day you feel like shooting something besides .22lr?

You don't shoot much I'm guessing.
