Ammo is like Crack?

Well, I've never smoked crack (that I can remember)... but I can't stop my ammo addiction

I'm sure there are plenty of members with far more ammo than I hoard have, but I have plenty - yet I can't seem to accept that it's enough...

I've got friends with boatloads (a buddy that has ungawdly numbers of cases) - but I don't fiend over theirs and I'm not jealous of theirs... however, I can't stop my quest for acquisition of my stake.

This is not an "end of days" thing... it's an OCD thing I think

shipping is $21.81 (a bit high)... but they have a 5% coupon code: 5pct123 which puts it at 37.5 cents per round... not great, but not horrible for factory loads...


I usually shoot various reloads - but I'm dialing in trijicon sights on my M&P and can't get consistent groupings with the rounds I've been using... I don't know if it's the ammo, gun, sights, me or combo of all - but I want to use factory next range trip to throw the reload variable out. (I dont have the same problem with my other pistols )

My last batch of .45 range ammo was freedom munitions (new) and it was around 300$ and 12$ shipping after 5% discount code.

It just keeps getting more expensive.

Edit: Their 230 grn NEW .45 is 309.99 before shipping. Still not bad, and it seems loaded a little hotter than most commercial .45.

for years (this has been going on for a long time) i've picked up 2-4 individual boxes of ammo on a monthly basis, for purpose of hoarding. i continue to buy a box or two of ammo every few weeks. there are many that would say i've overdone it, and some that would say i've got a ways to go. but i know... it never ends.

yes i am one of you guys i have around 750 rounds but yet when ever i go to walmart i buy more or any outher gun shop that have good deals on it

I've been shooting that (and LAX reloads) lately... It's not "bad" ammo - but I need to stock up on some factory too... the only factory I have right now is JHP (and I dont want to shoot all that just testing sights)...

Yes, I agree - it's hotter than most, definitely hotter than LAX (not a bad thing btw)

Knowing that there are .32 per round deals (like Freedom and LAX sales), it's hard to pay five cents more per round for factory (buying in bulk) - but the hunt is half the fun (it prolongs the spending on the addiction )
