Do the single stack glocks use the cruciform trigger bar? Like the 43, 43x, 48, etc..

Idiots might attempt those asking prices, sure - but Glock has made so many guns of their most adopted models, and so many in the used/PPT market, only a frickin' moron would pay anything above MSRP of when it was new.
For the longest time, most all FFLs would turn you down or give you a sympathy offer of $150 to $200 at most for a used Glock if you wanted to sell it to them or trade it.
Yes, people are likely to try those premium pricing attempts, but so will the other tens-of--thousand of passive Glock owners, seek doing the same, even the one-time 'COVID' panic buyers, with an avalanche of used, never-fired Glocks for the taking.
It will be like when Ebay started up and suddenly hundreds of some certain issue comic book previously thought to be rare, came out of everyones' attic collection boxes, and were simultaneouslt up for sale at 1/100th of the prior asking prices pre-Ebay/pre-Internet.

Yes, I see that happening.
My son manages a LGS in So Cal, and has been fielding lots of calls lately from folks trying to find any Glock, and others who bought during the pandemic who are now looking to soon sell off those used, but never fired, as-new in the box models they over-paid for back then. Most all of those callers were never “gun people” to begin with, and have since realized that they never really needed one to begin with.
Time will tell. Pass the popcorn for this one.Comment

I find that entertaining. If it gets to that point, I have a wheel barrow (bulk packed) of various generations from 1-5 of numerous models that I’ll consider parting with.
I could trade up for another decent African safari double, or something else.Comment

One painful lesson I have learned the hard way, from divorce and having to liquidate most of my guns is never sell guns, only buy them. I regret every gun I have ever sold, even when I sold piles of in Cosmo like new Mosins and Ghost SKS, I should have kept them. Don't sell your guns. Things change, politics and gun laws and tyranny change.NRA Certified Metallic Cartridge Reloading Instructor, Shotgun Instructor and Range Safety Officer

Yup. I learned this lesson long ago. I was in my early 20's and wasn't making hardly anything back then just starting out in the film/TV industry. I had to make a truck payment and sold a Detonics .45acp to an FFL to make a payment. I hated that I had to sell it but I didn't want to get behind on truck payments or worst case risk falling too far behind and get my truck repo'd or something. One painful lesson I have learned the hard way, from divorce and having to liquidate most of my guns is never sell guns, only buy them. I freaking kick myself all the time over that. Now that I'm in TX, I was looking at one but they're now like $3000 bucks. I sold the pistol back in the mid 90's for $250. 😔 I probably could've come up with the payment another way, but I was young and dumb and wasn't thinking.Last edited by GOEX FFF; 10-24-2025, 10:26 PM.Comment

Detonics Combatmaster or Scoremaster?

Is this a nothingburger now??
Because I hear Glock is discontinuing evrything current anyway. Or is that just another piece of fake news???
Hard to believe they'd do that JUST because of CA...Comment

They are likely doing it because of nationwide pending and in process Glock Switch lawsuits, I think. I don't feel Commifornia plays as large a part in Glocks decisions as some think, all they've been doing is continuing Gen 3s for a long time here, that's it. It's like passive income for them. No innovation, no new models that bow to the Commifornia stupidity. I am in doubt if we will ever see a new Glock back on the roster here, so if that turns out to be what happens, I think that'll serve as proof of Commifornia's role in Glocks business decisions.NRA Certified Metallic Cartridge Reloading Instructor, Shotgun Instructor and Range Safety Officer
