As many as I can afford and then some....but their exists also in the human heart a depraved taste for equality, which impels the weak to attempt to lower the powerful to their own level, and reduces men to prefer equality in slavery to inequality with freedom.Comment

Perhaps this attitude is inappropriate for the topic at hand, but I personally set a limit this year to weapon purchases. I'm saving up for one big purchase of a premium brand handgun at the end of this year, and that's going to be the last.
I made that decision after turning over the matter mentally. Such are my thoughts during the 60 minute drive to the nearest indoor range. Basically, the core of the problem is that quality firearms are truly plentiful. I believe it is no trouble for any of us to mentally recall the names and models of ten good firearms that we don't own yet. Assuming one had the means to buy those ten on the spot, there would yet be ten more afterwards the buyer could recall.
Thus if we were to snap our fingers and suddenly possess the ability to own every gun we ever wanted , we would come to yet another problem. When would the hapless owner have time to shoot them? Between job, school, sleep, eating and shooting it would take the better part of a human lifetime just to work one's way down the mile long "Wall of Bliss".
Since I don't live in a Zip Code where I can snap my fingers and materialize any gun I want , the problem is compounded by the need to go to work so as to afford each new firearm, its accessories, and ammunition. By my personal deduction Ill never be able to own every well made firearm , and even if I did I wouldn't be able to enjoy any of them. You can't take a Smith and Wesson with you beyond the grave any more than you can take your money.
That being established, I took the decision to freeze my collection after this latest acquisition. I'm not saying Ill never buy another gun again, but my days of "chasing the dragon" are over. The more prohibitions you have, the less virtuous people will be.
The more subsidies you have, the less self reliant people will be.

All I need to get is a compact handgun. I just don't really want one. So..... I probably won't get one until I do.WARNING: This post will most likely contain statements that are offensive to those who lack wit, humor, common sense, and or maturity.

Looks like I need one more...You guess wich one!
Don't forget to get enough ammo to last the rest of your life.It doesn't matter how scary, ugly, uncomfortable, or inconvenient self defense can be. Like it or not, you will never, ever be relieved of your duty and responsibility to defend your life, your family, your country and your freedom.
How much ammo do I need? Enough to last me the rest of my life, and then lot more for later.

Well according to that list I don't need anymore guns, but that doesn't mean that I don't want more

I need them ALL! I'm on my way to that too, as finances allow. It was not a threat. It was an exaggerated response to an uncompromising stance. I was taught never to make a threat unless you are prepared to carry it out and I am not a fan of carrying anything. Even watching other people carrying things makes me uncomfortable. Mainly because of the possibility they may ask me to help.Comment

I need a couple more. TBH I don't see the point of a 22lr long range rifle. Then again I don't do any kind of hunting so.... Although I guess it's not to say I will never NEED to varmint hunt.

Hurts to see so many adults not understand wants vs needs....The person who has nothing for which he is willing to fight, nothing which is more important than his own personal safety, is a miserable creature and has no chance of being free unless made and kept so by the exertions of better men than himself.Comment

When I want something I need it.A well regulated militia being necessary to the security of a free state, the right of the people to keep and bear arms shall not be infringed
It is not about the GUN it is about the RIGHT
Gun control has its roots in RACISM and CLASSISM, if you support gun control you support those two evils

I always need more guns. Half the fun I buying rare guns is the chase. Money isn't even the issue most times, it's finding a rare model and convincing the owner to sell it.Comment

Well intentioned video, but came off kind of wrong.
First gun I would reccomend would be 22s. A gun is only as effective as the user and someone who doesn't train regularly is less than effective.
I reccomend both rifle and handgun.
Service grade full sized pistol. I have mixed feelings about small guns since I can discreetly carry a full sized 1911.
12 guage pump action with 2 barrels, guess the long barrel could be used for bird hunting.
Definitely a AR rifle with multiple uppers and if funds aren't an issue, multiple lowers.
Having 4 lowers and 4 uppers could give you 16 rifle combos.
That 300 blackout round looks very promising.
I guess a308/30-06 powered rifle for long range shooting.
