Do you carry at home?

Usually a gun is close by, sometimes I carry.

I live in a peaceful neighborhood but I still open carry at home. Having a gun on my hip just gives me a good feeling.

The comically sad reality for me is, when I leave home, I have to unholster my sidearm and lock it up. (I live in a no-issue county.)

I live in a generally peaceful, quiet, rural community. Generally good neighbors, but these areas always attract growers, dealers and tweakers.
Why? Because LE response can be measured in hours or days instead of minutes.

I don't necessarily carry as a matter of practice, but a loaded revolver or shotgun are never very far away. Snakes have been thick this year.
