Do you carry at home?

Curious to see how many calgunners carry at home whether or not you have a LTC. Tell why you do/don't carry at home.

I rarely carry at home, but I usually leave one out and accessable when home. I don't have kids in the house or I'd handle this differently.

Yes I do.

Sometimes if I am sitting at the desk or on the couch for long periods of time I will put the gun down next to me. But its never more than a foot ot two away.

I don't; I live in a decent neighborhood and I have kids. I do keep a loaded gun in my pistol safe at all times.

Inside the walls of the house, not carrying (unless answering a knock at the door) but its very close at hand...anytime stepping outside always carrying.

I have an LTC but I don't carry at home. I'm usually upstairs at my desk with one in the draw a foot away though.

I have a LTC, but don't carry at home. Have one in a Gun Vault next to my bed and a small Cannon safe in the closet. I usually have one in the kitchen as well, just in case I need to get to one and can't get upstairs. I have kids, so leaving a gun laying around or carrying isn't an option.

I only carry depending on if i keep my doors opened with the screen to allow airflow thru. There has been numerous time where cops are after scums and the scums run thru neighbors backyard into homes and such. My neighborhood has gone to the dumps. Just last night early evening some scum decides to mag dump two mags 34rds total. The neighbors of the scum didnt bother to call the cops. All this in the suburbs of the city

Absolutely! My Utah CCW does me no good here in SoCal. And I carry at home Because I have a 14 and 6 year old at home. Home invasions are no joke!

i carry when i investigate something outside,front door is behind gate and so is entire house so it is legal

No, I don't carry at home. I always have a firearm close to hand.

I do the same thing, normally the shotgun is mid house and the XD close by.
