sounds like you should have gone to the range earlier. How would you like it if you were shooting for hours on end with your much better setup and somebody else was complaining? you would likely tell them to take a hike, you were there first

Reminds me of some guys at our local range that will set up with their bench rest rifles and reloading equipment. They will try different loads for hours on end when there are people waiting for a chance to shoot. My opinion is there should be a time limit when the range is crowded.

Its like any other social groups in life. Jocks vs Nerds vs Goths. Exotics vs American Muscle vs Rice Rockets.

Is one actually better? Depends on which side you are on. You feel you make better use of the range than the other guy with his Tacticool scope. Ferarri drivers are annoyed by the rice rockets for the same reason. Since I own many large-caliber rifles including a few 50's, I am guilty of it too sometimes. Doesn't make me right.

When I bring the 50 to the line, I try to take breaks so people can shoot on the benchs next to me. If someone doesn't want to return the favor, I have no problem knocking everything off their bench with the muzzleblast from my brake

I just saw a youtube vid with a guy hitting targets at 230 yards with a glock 27. These guys are awesome at 25 years I wish they made a vid.

[rant] Couldn't get my range time in today because YET ANOTHER super sharp shooter has spent the last four hours at the 25 yard pistol lane with his 17hmr with a ludicrously large scope (50mm +). I think the word this thread is looking for is courtesy. Like if ur using the only crapper in a public place and theres a line. U cant just sit in there taking ur time playin games on the phone.

If you don't like it you could be the one to wake up early and guarantee your place in front of said customer.
