[rant] Couldn't get my range time in today because YET ANOTHER super sharp shooter has spent the last four hours at the 25 yard pistol lane with his 17hmr with a ludicrously large scope (50mm +). I hear these guys all the time in the cafes and mini marts brag at how they shoot 1/2 inch groups all day long. No kiddin, at 25 yards with that kind of glass you should be shooting less than that. *** hats. [/rant] Oh and in case you were wondering no he wouldn't move.

So does this range only have one 25 yard position or something? Why don't you move to a longer distance range and show off your own talent? Why not complain to the range that they should get another 25 yard target?

If anything, why did you go to the range with only the ability to use the one 25 yard position that might already be occupied, and instead of shooting something at another distance you just stand around for four hours? Before you start calling other people names, you might want to consider your own actions(rather, inaction) first.

Is there only a single pistol lane? Haven't seen a range yet with only a single pistol lane. Sucks you didn't get to shoot, but it sounds like a problem with the way the range is setup rather than the customers just trying to use it. (As in you are pissed at the wrong person)

The indoor range I go to though takes the opposite approach. If people are waiting a long time to use the busy range, they go in there and tell people they can't go for an extra hour to allow more people to use the range. It sucked the one time they asked me to cut mine short, but on the other hand I've been on the flip side waiting over an hour for a lane so can appreciate them trying to find the middle ground.
