Cheapest gun you have ever bought?

I got a Ruger 10/22 for a tank of gas. And that was when gas was about a buck a gallon in the 80's. So, $30 or so for a 10/22 that I still shoot. The funniest part is I paid more for the scope on it than I did for the gun.

Cheapest in a relative sense was 500 for a 1924 model 12 trap diamond grade from a calgunner. Sold it for 1,600 and that buyer sold it for 2,200!

Bought a Glenfield Model 25 .22 with scope at a hardware store in Wilkinsburg Pa in 1971. The price new before tax was $25 which equates to $138 today. Not much of a bargain!

Not including those given to me, I bought a motorcycle for $400, rode it for 3 years, parked it for a year and a half and then traded it for a GP100 that looked like it had maybe 50 rounds through it, 2 holsters and 100 rounds of .357. The guy I traded still rides the bike and the GP never misses a trip to the range
