I thought I would start this thread as I didn't see one when performing a search.
#1. Colt Python: This is a tack driver like nothing else I've ever shot, smoothest factory trigger of any gun I've ever shot as well. Beautiful lines, the Python will be a classic forever, and for good reason.
#2. Sig Sauer P220: I liked this gun from the start, but when I did a back-to-back test with the Kimber, I quickly realized, it was more accurate and just a much of a blast to shoot. Made in W. Germany and it shows.
#3. Kimber 1911 Target: Great gun, very accurate, fun to shoot and just plain bad looking.
#4. CZ 75 SP-01: This gun has incorporated many things form the past and somethings that just make sense, it's a DA/SA that can be carried cocked & locked. Shoots straight as an arrow and is under priced compared to weapons of this grade.
#5. Browning High Power 9mm: Pretty nice gun, started the high-cap concept in 1934 (hence the name high-power). No other gun fits me as well. I was hoping this would've placed higher, but is not as accurate as any of the guns above. If this weapon came with a bette trigger and shot as well as the others it would've placed much higher.
Honorable Mention: Glock (pick a model). This is IMO the ultimate duty/combat gun, reliable, extremely easy to clean and maintain, and rugged.
Please feel free to list your Top 5. (This isn't a contest and everyone is entitled to their favorites). Support comments are greatly appreciated as well.
All the best,
