I am wondering if the Shrike AR-15 upper receiver is legal in the state of california. basically for those of you who don't know what it is, the Shrike is an upper receiver that can drop onto an AR-15 lower in seconds and converts it to a belt fed firearm, whats really cool is that it can still accept magazines. i would think that so long as the belt is no longer than 10 rnds (unless it was in your possession before the ban) and the lower had a bullet button (because you can still use a magazine) on it this would be legal right? help me out.
here is a video of it in action on a full auto lower (serious gun porn alert)
if this is legal in CA (or could in some way be made legal if its not) and was selling for somewhere between $1200 to $1500, would you want one?
