Cal15-bs interest?

I pm'ed jtroks about his cal15-bs. He said he might be interested in making a small batch. (100) if we had that many interested. Cost would be determined on his CnC cost. I'm willing to buy at least 5 - 10 for guys at work.

Who else would be interested? Post up!
Thanks all
Hope this is the right forum!

Edit:

So he is working out the details.
"Repost update on pricing. As most of you know it's not an overnight item since I'm not into this full time. The first 100 units ordered will be $21 each + S&I (USPS). After the first 100 the pricing will be $24.50 each +S&I. Paypal payments will incur a 3.5% fee. Thanks."

"
I'm having trouble copy/pasting, but current count is at 123. I will post the names/monikers and quantity they are reserving. I'm willing to honor all of the one hundred twenty three for the discounted pricing. I will PM all in the list to confirm.

The pricing is for the CAL15-BS only and no tool. If you want a plastic tool it will be $2.50 extra."

He's still dealing with machine shop
He's not taking orders yet but keep an eye out! Thanks all for your patience!

I had no idea what you were talking about so I searched google and got it.

That's real nice, but wouldn't a cop just take that off and charge you? Kinda like if your 14.5 isn't pinned?

Are these available anywhere or is it only by special order or group buy?

I guess that's a possibility. If they knew what it was. There are a ton of scenarios out there. They could plant evidence on you all they want.

He hasn't made them in a while. I contacted him. He is considering making some if he has enough interest. Not 100%. I asked if I could start a thread to help gauge interest. They aren't available in stores.

I could be in for three, depending on price.

if the cost isn't absurd I'll take 2.

Unofficial-non-lawyer-guess-at-reality:
cop pulling the button off with a tool would seem to constitute a cop manufacturing an assault weapon. Just because the factory mag release feature is still "there" means nothing if it has to be actuated with a tool and the part that provides that crippling feature has to be removed with a tool. Seems to me a great way to have a functioning gun without major surgery or legally questionable magnets when i go out of state which is still easy enough to convert back to crippled when I come back (that won't be a problem long... I'm outta this rat-fark state at my next opportunity)

I'd like to keep this topic strictly about the desire for this product and avoid legalities and what if's. There are plenty of topics and threads for this.
Thanks. So it looks like we are up to 10ish. Keep the posts coming.

Ooohhh, CalGuns limited edition? Blue anodized? j/k

I'd be in for one if under $35. 2 or 3 more if @ $25

I'll take 2 if price is reasonable.
