Been laughing about that one for a few days! Yeah it's a real "game changer"! Engineered straight from Fed Ex! Probably a Adams Arms piston kit.... Kind of like the Hogzilla rifle, Alexander Arms upper with a suppressed barrel.... I understand its a show but come on how many times are they gonna reinvent the wheel? But with all the lame stuff I have to admit I am a sucker for any show with guns in it.

Or an LMT or a Colt or a....... So many off the shelf piston guns available it makes you wonder! But then again those companies don't have TV shows.

The weird thing about all the marketing and drama on that show is that I would be perfectly content to watch a show about the day-to-day of them just putting guns together. I'm probably not the "general viewing public" though.

I believe the reason the AR wasn't working was because he had to heavy of a buffer/ buffer spring in the AR. In a piston gun, it can mean a WORLD of difference how much resistance you are putting against that piston.

They probably made the upper, they for sure made the lower, ordered a custom barrel from somewhere, and then bought some AR parts. You would be surprised to find out how little gun company's actually make themselves when it comes to ARs.
The very existence of flamethrowers proves that some time, somewhere, someone said to themselves, "You know, I want to set those people over there on fire, but I'm just not close enough to get the job done."

Looks like Vince has had enough. A AR piton upper and Will is headed to DC? Wow.

I don't get it. Why do gun people actually watch or support the show? I understand how it could be interesting for people who don't know anything about firearms, it might seem interesting. Anyway, I could not believe that these morons had people lining up for autographs at SHOT. I was embarrassed that three medal of honor recipients were at SHOT and none of them had a line yet, dumb *** D celebs had people standing in 30-60 minute lines just to buy a shirt from them.

They machined the lower in house. Firing in fullmautomissue was due to Vince putting the wrong piston in. Was supposed to be hydraulic and wasn't. I enjoy the show for the entertainment value it offers. And I know I'm gonna get crap for this but I think Steph is hot!

Just curious, what type of engineering do they put into these things? Is it more than just ordering the parts and throwing it together? Or are they just trying to make the show sound more interesting. Just curious
That show is an insult. They act like they invented a gas piston AR upper. Then they "have" to find this mysterious hydo recoil buffer and then overnight it.

just insulting. Anyone who buys that crap is watching tooooo much TV

They machined the lower and the monolithic upper they machined also.. Everything else was ordered

I wonder if they would do a California compliant build show???? Or, at least mention Ca compliance on the show.

If "Engineering" is just slapping a few pieces of off-the-shelf components together, why do people do in Engineering Schools? Drinking? Red Jacket is a joke. Will is laughable.

Oh, by the way ... if the "General" buys the "Desert AR" instead of getting one from the big boys, that would even be more comical.
