What shop SSE'd it? Valkyrie had a couple. I think the brass one was Henry. I'd only been aware of the Rossi.

I just bought 16" barreled Marlin 45 Colt, but was considering a ranch hand. Same reason....FUN!

I found a movie memorabilia site that has this picture available in high quality photo, not poster. I think I am going to get one, frame it and hang it on the wall of my gun room (well, my office/gun room, that is )

Honestly, every gun I have is just for fun. I don't hunt, I'm not LE or military. I'm just a fat software guy that likes to go shooting at the range.

I don't keep a gun nearby for home defense really. I mean, if someone is banging at the door, I'll run to the safe and get a shotgun, but I don't keep a loaded firearm next to my bed (kids).

So realistically, all the guns I have are for entertainment, though I respect their ability to harm and kill and treat them accordingly.

My 1895 SBL bone stock. Guys trick these things out, I'm a factory purist.
