Guns for zombie outbreak?

The thing about it is that there are 10,000,000 people in Los Angeles, even if only 50% turned into zombies and I only had to worry about the zombies in my area of Los Angeles a conservative estimate would be what, maybe 100,000 zombies? 200,000 zombies?

So even if I was perfect with my 10/22 (100% head shots, no misses) I would need a least that much Ammo.

I'm disheartened to say the least... Maybe I should move to a place with a lower population density...

The math is wrong, you are missing many variables. You are not counting the number of people who will also be taking out said zombies.

Theoretically speaking,what kind of GUN would you what to have if you where preparing for a zombie take over? It does not matter as long as it will stop a man with one shot to the head. Then the person preparing should put one in the pipe and turn it on him self to make sure it works.

I think I'd like a flamethrower for the crowds, then my AR, .45 auto and samurai sword.
