    HELP!Worst SERVICE FROM OPTICSPLANET

    Hi yall, i hate to be the one to vent publicly but i just wanna ask advice on what to do.

    I purchased a mount from opticsplanet on ebay on last tuesday ( Nov 15) and received a "shipped" reply from them that same day. However a week later ( November 22) and still no mount i decided to contact them and see where my package is, to my horror they replied the next day saying they JUST shipped it yesterday!!!!! That is not the worse part, the worse part is that they used UPS GROUND!!!!!!!!! The tracking says it will be here on NOVEMBER 30th.... exactly 2 weeks from the purchase date and a week after the estimated delivery date. I have called their customer service and being no help at all, they told me that this is normal for them. I also asked why didnt they use a faster shipping after they knew they messed up and they said "because thats what we use with free shipping" They didnt even offer to give me anything to make up for it.

    Is it justifiable that i am a little pissed off about this? and what should i do!

    I've given up on them. Every order has been messed-up so far.

      What were the shipping policies listed on the eBay page?

        Yeah, I'll never order from them again, they list items on the site that are actually out of stock and don't bother to tell you that until later.

          Looks like they state MOST Items ship next day. They do say they ship UPS ground and that the shipping is FREE. Although I think taking 7 days to ship is uncalled for and I would not be happy, I don't think I'd consider that as "Worst Service" nor would I expect any compensation but an apology would have been nice

            I have looked at the page multiple times and the only thing remotely related to shipping is the estimated delivery date, which said Nov 17-Nov 23.

            Purple K - i feel you man, i got in touch with opticsplanet on here.... let see what happens now

              I ordered a pack from OpticsPlanet once. I was charged for it, but that's about it. Never got the pack, or my money back. I tried calling and e-mailing them, but got no reply. They did, however, speak with my bank after I explained my issue. Again, no dice. This was right before WaMu merged with Chase so I was expecting little help. In any case... Yeah, OpticPlanet is garbage.

                Just got two holsters from them - no problems - one shipped from their warehouse one from another ( distributor?) - came two days apart but they sent shipping details so I was expecting two deliveries

                  I've ordered thru them 3 times...I've never waited over 2 weeks for anything.

                  2 weeks doesn't feel excessive for an item on ebay imo.

                    I've ordered items from them without any issues. I have, however, had a similar experience to yours from thegunsource.com. After 2 weeks of placing my order I called to find out the status. The lady said they had my parts there, but were having trouble with their shipping dept and it wouldn't go out till the end of the week. At the end of that week I called again to check the status. This time the guy said they didn't have my parts there yet.

                    I don't like being lied to. Just tell me I have to wait, but don't lie to me. I won't use them again.

                        @ bonzaiii - yes 2 weeks was excessive but by them saying it was shipped thats the first thing that pissed me off and the second is that i was planning to use my new rifle over this thanksgiving break : (. I have the scope and rifle but no mount makes it useless.

                        @ dirtfarmer916 - you are sorta right, i wouldnt have mind as much if this was your average joe seller, but being opticsplanet (their ebay store carries the same "reputable" name i was expecting more.)

                        @ Louscamaro91 - i didnt expect this either, ive read many reviews about their good service, ship times, and prices. Maybe i was the exception. However i contacted them through here and a was told by a rep that a supervisor is looking into this.

                          You purchased said item with Ebay. Then you paid with PayPal. When Optics Planet accepted the Email confirming your funds, another Email is generated automatically with shipping info. That's why its called estimated shipping date. They did spend a little extra time shipping it, but I always ignore those shipping emails. I wish they would just send one after it has really shipped. You must be new at Ebay. They have been doing it over a year now, since the PayPal change.

                            I'll never order from Opticsplanet again either. First order wasn't bad as the item it was in stock (I'm finding out that's not the norm for them though). Second two orders were terrible. Cancelled the last one and will order everything I need through Sacramento Black Rifle from now on. Would rather support a local business.

                              Chim-chim7 ive been using ebay since 2005, never had any problems until now. Im positive that it wasnt an auto generated email, since it was shipping confirmation sent 4 hours later. I also called and the customer rep told me that they marked it as shipped and forgot to ship it.
