friends mooching of your ammo? Then get mad when you tell them to buy their own cause it's too expensive to donate $50-$100 worth of ammo when you take them out shooting cause they're noobs?


I dunno, whenever I had buddies take me shooting when I was a noob, I always paid for my own ammo, or at least offered to pay for shooting some their ammo.

When I take someone new to shooting the first time is free. They kind of get a feel for which gun they like best and I ask them to bring ammo for that gun the next time we go out. I still let them have some of my ammo when we shoot together also.

well, ok. Last Sunday I had 2 buddies with me, they didn't buy ammo like I told them too, so I told them to buy it at the range. Then they both said "Why don't you give us some of yours, you have 500 of each caliber"?

then 2 hours later, "Damn dude, I spent like $70 here. This is BS"

I did say I'm sorry that I can't donate, but I aint rich. The previous times before that, I donated like $70 worth of ammo to friends, and it almost seems like they don't appreciate it.

Once I get a .22, I won't mind, other wise they better buy their own ammo and stop beeching about the cost.

That allways happeneds! Yes first time is free. The next time they pay for ammo and targets and extra ammo since they are using your guns! Or they pay or split range time as well.

First time is free, after that, I offer to drop them off at walmart or wherever to buy ammo on the way to the range.

Man you need to get a 10/22 and take that for them to shoot for the first time. Most people I take shooting don`t want to shoot rifle anyways.


Except for this one guy I took shooting with me, who shoot like 100 rounds through my ak. But he payed for the ammo.

Noobs gets a free pass from me. I'll let them shoot my firearms but to an extent.
I let my friends shoot my firearms and I shoot theirs. Even trade off. No homo

I ignore people (who do not own firearms) that ask me to take them to the range after the third or fourth time.
To me, they're freeloaders.
