I don't own any handguns, so Saiga 12 and/or featureless 16" AR leaning on the desk next to my bed. (the condom drawer is on wife's side of the bed with her Bersa)

No guns aloud in the house. We are civilized people. We talk out our issues.

I already involuntarily kick & punch my wife when I'm asleep.

No telling what I'll do with a loaded gun under my pillow....

@SDM44: You'd probably involuntarily pistol whip her or shoot her. lol

nope never slept with it under my pillow. Besides, i'm a restless sleeper, i'd probably lose it amidst my tossing and turning. it stays close by on the nightstand like everyone else.

No. Someone's watching too much tv.

I don't see how this passes the safety test

Especially if someone is sleeping next to you

                      someone is paranoid.
                      wtf?

I can't imagine sleeping under the barrel of a gun when its loaded or unloaded.

The common sense and well acknowledged rule is to never cover yourself with your muzzle, and for good reason; it's a mo' fo' loaded gun.
I'd say a muzzle an inch or two from your brain would be just plain stupid.

I keep mine on the night stand when my daughter isn't home, mostly because the night sites on the gun make a great night light!

A friend of mine used to sleep with a .45 on the headboard shelf. One night he dreamed he needed the gun for some reason, reached up, grabbed it, and shot a hole in the ceiling.
