    Gun under pillow

I'm just curious, does anybody actually sleep with a gun under their pillow or in their bed?

I'm a restless sleeper so I think if I kept my handgun under my pillow I might not be able to find it if I needed it during the night. I keep it on my nightstand so I know exactly where it is.

My pillow isn't firm so I'd feel it on my head haha. I'd rather just keep it on top or inside a night stand.

Nope, It stays on the nightstand. With the way I sleep I can't imagine it would stay under the pillow long. Also, the idea of the barrel possibly somehow ending up in my wife's direction doesn't strike me as safe practice.

Mine is under my pillow every night.

Mainly because my bedside cabinet drawer is full of condoms and Tums.

Oh and I leave my gun under my nightstand. I have a concealed holster under my nightstand.

Physical exertion in most forms tends to give me pretty bad heartburn.

Sometimes. But I've also been known to sleep with an AR15 or fall asleep with an AK if I watched God of War before bed.

i do not, for the simple fact that I do not own a handgun. All I have is a 308 bolt action and 2 12 gauges...
