Actually all gun manufactures say that. Heck, they don't know if some guy double charged a case or not. So to be sure, the manufactures ban reloads.

Oh. and get a GLOCK 30 or GLOCK 21.. (normal or SF depending on how your hand feels holding the weapon)

Fewer people are killed with all rifles each year (323 in 2011) than with shotguns (356), hammers and clubs (496), and hands and feet (728).

Since we're doing the pretend zombie deal I'll just toss out that anything in .45 is a bad idea due to the weight of the ammo..

9mm would be better (like an MP5/Ruger PC9 and some hi-cap pistol (G17, 2022, etc)

If finding ammo laying around wasn't an issue than a PS90/FN 5.7 would be perfect and you could easily hump a thousand rounds.. can't do that with .45

But, if I had to choose .45 it would be my UMP and 220 Combat..

                    Glock 30 or 21 with a 27 rnd magazine. Sig 226 9mm with a 20 rnd mag. back up would be a Glock19 with a 33 rndr lol

If you can get the ammo a good quality 45 will work.
You just have to get a 45 that is reliable and will work without any kind of failures.
This may require some work on your part..You want something that is easy to work on in the event of a parts failure.
You will want a full sized pistol..A govt sized one and lots of magazines that work.
I haven't planned for the zombies but I do have a emergency weapons..a full sized to do work and a compact to save your bacon should it gets close and hairy.
Be wary of the major brand names as some are just hype..some do work but it depends on who worked on it..

I have a Kimber Desert and Custom II..those are the full sized numbers..I have a Adventurer for the close protection and concealed duty..

Do you realize how heavy this setup is? Not to mention it would be pretty cumbersome to wield this around while shooting at zombies.
