Because there are always dumber people than the dumb people who overpaid in the first place.

Just like the saying goes, "If you're strong, there's always someone stronger than you"

I'll quote give a quote: "If you're dumb, there's always someone dumber than you"

Actually I only started collecting Milsurps 3 years ago. I think I might own about 24...They're cheaper than guns that will most likely never get the opportunity to kill somebody...

I belong to the group that uses firearms, and knows which bathroom to use.

I'm always intrigued by the number of used guns that are "LNIB" or whatnot. And the pictures show it.

If a person isn't a dealer why would they buy a brand new gun, put 100 rds through it, then sell it?

To each his own I guess. I just have a hard time wrapping my head around it.

Lots of reasons... to name a few:

              Impulse buy
Decided they didn't like the caliber
              Didn't like the ergonomics(grip, controls)
              Didn't like the weight/balance
Didn't like the size for carry
Couldn't find the accessories they wanted to use with it(night sights, holsters, etc.)
Immediately found a way better deal on something else but can't afford to have bought both
              etc.

In my case, i bought a small concealable pistol when I thought I'd be leaving the state soon headed for the Free States. Then it turned out I'd be staying right here, and my wife started shooting, and I needed another semiauto for the range when I went shooting with her. So, I sold my barely fired revolver.

It happens. People have changes in their lives and need to get rid of them.

Or they just bought it on an impulse and regret it.

Or it's a piece of garbage they are trying to foist off on someone else :P

Thus, buyer beware and all that. Inspect before handing over cash.

Offer the seller what you think its worth. If they aren't interested in your money, move on minus any crying.

Ok at one time i was drooling over Saiga shotguns and bought into how cool everyone says they were i just gotta have one etc. So I bought one. I liked absolutely NOTHING about it. it was fun for the first 25 of the 50 rounds I put through it. I looked into selling it but the lowball offers ( and when i say lowball I mean a guy offered me $350) that were given I basically held on to it. Sure I may not like it but that doesn't mean I am willing to take a bath on selling it. I had a few guns i recently unloaded that i did not like to shoot anymore. Nothing wrong with the guns i simply lost interest in them. but even then there is no reason IMO to deeply discount a gun especially when its basically in great to new condition. I guess the price of a item corresponds to how badly someone needs or wants to sell it. Sometimes people are just too anal about a gun with 0-500 rounds down the tube because OH MY GOD its now used so it needs to have a price tag of 1/2 its original price and ill low ball you from there
