There are plenty of threads on botach already. Bottom line, if you don't care that you may not see your order for 6 months, if ever, and that it will probably wrong or defective when it arrives, they have great prices.

Also, considering that your poll doesn't even state if 1 or 5 is better, it's pretty useless.

This company I knew nothing about but decided to take a gamble with a cheap little UTG buffer tube as a feeler to see how good of a company they are. Cause first glance their website kinda looks cheaply made. But However that doesn't really matter to me as long as I get good service I could care less what they're website looks like.

So on Saturday I order this tube. Their website said it was in stock. So cool I believed it. I wanted it by the end of the following week. Ordering on Saturday and expecting it by Friday when both of us are located in California I think its pretty reasonable. So I think about Tuesday I called and called and called to figure out if it had left. I didn't get and tracking info yet. I got a hold of someone at the end of the day finially after calling all day long maybe once an hour or so. Elly said she would have he boss call me back. So before the end of the day she called back and said I'm going to give the phone to my boss, then said oh wait he's on another line he will call you right back. But I never got the call that day.

Instead I get an email the next day saying they were out of stock of that part and they did charge me. At this point im a little upset because most of the websites I order from have very accurate inventory systems. Its pretty easy to keep up with and to make it even more fool proof they are using the yahoo merchant solutions shopping cart system which has to be one of the easiest to use. You input a inventory amount. Then that's it. When people order that product it subtracts that number until they are all gone. Then its out of stock. Its very very very very simple. Anyway's it could have been a simple human error right?

So I call back to say hey since you guys have my money can you just go out of your way to make YOUR customer happy and just order one from another company. Only I couldn't get through cause they never answer their phone. So instead I got emails, which is a pathetic way to communicate with someone when you know you made a mistake. Its kind of like hiding.

I know I'm probably forgetting a bunch of stuff and sound like and impatient jerk but im not. I say heck order something from them, but do it with caution, with little money spend, and most importantly not be in a hurry.

That's why I rate Botach with a 1. (because I will never order from them again nor will I recommend them to anyone I know, First impressions matter right?)

I've ordered from them twice within this past year. Everything I ordered came in it's original packaging, was shipped to me-and in my hands within 3 days.

So far, I've had great experiences, but my brother is still waiting on a B.A.D. lever he ordered a few weeks ago. Go figure.

I put a 4, simply because of my 2 only dealings with them.....


1st deal - Ordered a weapon light. Received it a few days later. No problems at all. But then I think it didn't hurt that I was having it shipped to downtown LA address, which was like 9 miles from their store.

2nd deal - I emailed them a couple of times on a particular product they had listed... no response. I tried calling them for 3 days straight.... no answer. Not sure what was up, but I gave up and moved onto another store and bought what I needed.

Good prices, frequent coupons for saving. Never had a problem. Only one order was delayed and that was only for a week. I don't hesitate to purchase if they have the best price.

-Received a notice that my product was was on backorder and should be in within 2 weeks.
-Website showed product in stock.
-Four weeks later receive second notice that product is on backorder.
-Website showed product in stock.
-Cancelled order after 5 weeks of waiting.

I guess I rated it a 4. If 4 is indifferent. Indifferent has 4 syllables. I am indifferent because I've had good and bad experiences, and it's kinda fun because buying swag from Botach is like gambling in Reno, you have good days and bad days. And sometimes all you get is VD.

I don't know but I would rather have 5 stars than just one. I appologies for not writing out how a 5 means good and 1 means bad. Didn't think I needed to explain.
