Hooligans at Big5

So I was at Big5 in San Lorenzo the other day, killing some time before I met up with the wife. I'm in the market for a knife so I figured I'd take a look. I was shootin(<---see that?)the ish with the cool dude at the counter, used to work at the Dublin store, but transferred if anybody knows who I'm talking about. Anyway, in comes a group of 4 thuggish lookin dudes. First thing I hear when they see the Colt .22
"No way dog, thats not an AR is it?"," yea eh, I think so"
"(fist over mouth) whooo, check out that mozeberg eh, that **** will take out anything eh"

One guy asks the counter guy:

H: Do you have 20ga shotgun bullets?
CG:What kind? I have birdshot. What are you hunting?
H: you have buckshot? I'm hunting deer
CG: I have nothin for you. That deer is just going to laugh at you
H:Well do you have .357 bullets?(friend says outloud "4th of July is coming up eh"
CG: I'm not trying to get up in your business, but I dont want to sell you something that wont work for you ya know. What kind of .357?

after some chatter on of the dudes says:
"Are any of these guns artillary?"
CG: Artillary? Like cannons? Nah man, just small arms

Other thug says
"Check out these air rifles ehh, they blow the ish out of something too"

Needless to say I had a chuckle to myself and was done looking at knives as soon as they walked in, but wanted to hang around a listen. The whole time I was thinking "perfect calguns story"

Forgot to add one dude had no shirt on covered in a mess of tats, the rest had shorts so big they barely stayed on! They were behind me leaving I was in my car getting my seatbelt on when I heard them trying to start their Blazer. That thing kept cranking and cranking, so I started up and took of real quick in case they asked me for a jump or something. I realized no jump was needed since it was cranking strong, but you get the jist

My favorite episode from my time working at a gun shop was when the obviously banger-types walked in and I was behind the counter and they asked where I kept the gauges (pronounced by them, "Gay-Jezz"). I responded, "What sort of gauges? What are you measuring?" It went downhill from there.

Once I was going to my local shop where I'm a regular; traffic was all backed up becuase a tow truck had double parked and had the hazzards on. I thought someone was going to get towed. Finally get inside the shop and the tow truck driver (who looked thuggish) was looking and then stormed off ranting about a 10 day waiting period. The owner, I, and several others kind of laughed. The owner or the other worker said something like "somehow I doubt he would pass the background/DROS process." We all had a good laugh.

I'm a regular at a local range and I have witnessed my fair amount of total wastes of carbon from all walks of life. They range from the straight up creeps to the annoying noobs all the way to the completely absurd. That job must be magical in many more ways than one.
