Why don't I ever see 'gang bangers' coming into the store acting like this? Well, I've seen idiot teen age kids who probably weren't old enough to purchase a pistol, let alone a long gun.

All of the 'gang bangers' I've seen come into a gun store were actually more humble acting and listened to what the store clerk had to say about a particular firearm they were looking at (whether the clerk was full of BS or not, the 'gang banger' was listening and learning and not running his mouth).

I was shootin(<---see that?)the ish with the cool dude at the counter, used to work at the Dublin store, but transferred if anybody knows who I'm talking about. Anyway, in comes a group of 4 thuggish lookin dudes. First thing I hear when they see the Colt .22
"No way dog, thats not an AR is it?"," yea eh, I think so"
"(fist over mouth) whooo, check out that mozeberg eh, that **** will take out anything eh"

One guy asks the counter guy:

H: Do you have 20ga shotgun bullets?
CG:What kind? I have birdshot. What are you hunting?
H: you have buckshot? I'm hunting deer
CG: I have nothin for you. That deer is just going to laugh at you
H:Well do you have .357 bullets?(friend says outloud "4th of July is coming up eh"
CG: I'm not trying to get up in your business, but I dont want to sell you something that wont work for you ya know. What kind of .357?

after some chatter on of the dudes says:
"Are any of these guns artillary?"
CG: Artillary? Like cannons? Nah man, just small arms

              Other thug says
"Check out these air rifles ehh, they blow the ish out of something too"

Needless to say I had a chuckle to myself and was done looking at knives as soon as they walked in, but wanted to hang around a listen. The whole time I was thinking "perfect calguns story"

If you are talking about Gino than I know who you are talking about. Is he a filipino looking guy?

I seen Gangbanger GF come into a store with her 2 babies in tow. She has paper in hand with a couple of used pocket pistols written on it. Apparently, her BF had already been 'window shopping' and sent her in to do the deal. Clerk asks what she wants it for. she say target shooting. My buddy (NOT the clerk) tells her '...those aren't target guns, those are for killing people...'. The clerk asks her if she wants to hold the guns and compare them. she declines and he basically tells her he cannot help her.
After we left, my buddy and I laughed about the poor attempt at straw purchase. I told him I would not have said anything to her. My buddy says if she wants to help her BF commit murder, she should know what she getting into. She gonna have Blood on her hands, we should rub her nose in it.

Doubt they wanted to commit any murders with them they just probably didnt know the difference in a range gun and a home defense weopon. Guns used to commit crimes are easily acquired on the street at about half the price that way you have no name attached to a serial number. Once the crime is committed they just toss it in the ocean or wherever and buy a new one. But Im sure they were using the girl to purchasing guns they could never legally own themselves.

I've heard of the price being high if it has a high cap mag but $800 to $950 would be a rip off.

Is he a shorter guy and he was always at the gun counter in the Dublin store. If so I know who you are talking about. I think he's a Calguns member also.

                            You can say that again.

Listening to my nephew, daughter and some of their friends banter and chat on Facebook, etc - I swear whatever they're typing - is not English! Kind of upsetting actually. The next generation is going to have a heck of a hard type communicating... unless its with one another.

A pocket pistol is not much of a home defense weapon.
Neither of us will ever know what the true intentions were of the guy who sent his Baby Mama into buy a gun that she was afraid too touch and he could not legally purchase. I am not so quick to believe the gun will not be used in a crime.
