Doubt they wanted to commit any murders with them they just probably didnt know the difference in a range gun and a home defense weopon. Guns used to commit crimes are easily acquired on the street at about half the price that way you have no name attached to a serial number. Once the crime is committed they just toss it in the ocean or wherever and buy a new one. But Im sure they were using the girl to purchasing guns they could never legally own themselves.

Not really. Some bangers are smart enough to legally aquire guns thru straw purchases. Why? So they wont get hung up with the law too badly when they illegally ccw, transport, go to range. Until that gun gets used then they may decide to chuck it or report it stolen, remove serials and use it in more crimes

Years ago, I watched some kid come up to the gun counter at Reed's. He asked to see the Saturday Night Specials. "No...we don't have any of those". Kid walked off a bit disappointed.

I recall one time back in 99'. A scumbag mother and her two thuggd sons(1 in a wheelchair) came into the shop and asked the store employee if the ak on the counter was 'fully automatic' and said he only liked fully automatics only. The clerk said no. Full auto is illegal in kommi. Then the brother who's not in the wheelchair mumbles to his brother and mother in spanish about coverting it to f/a. Then the family said they'll look around the store first and walks away from that clerk. 10 mins later a new clerk came to ask them if they needed help. Th mother said that she wanted to buy 2 of the ak's and some boolits and some clips. Well, the clerk said first off she can't buy 2 rifles at once and theres the waiting period. The mother then whispered back and forth with the sons and said they don't want it anymore. After the family left I went and spoke with the clerk and he said he already knows what they were up to as the first clerk had already briefed him.

I seen Gangbanger GF come into a store with her 2 babies in tow. She has paper in hand with a couple of used pocket pistols written on it. Apparently, her BF had already been 'window shopping' and sent her in to do the deal. Clerk asks what she wants it for. she say target shooting. My buddy (NOT the clerk) tells her '...those aren't target guns, those are for killing people...'. The clerk asks her if she wants to hold the guns and compare them. she declines and he basically tells her he cannot help her.
After we left, my buddy and I laughed about the poor attempt at straw purchase. I told him I would not have said anything to her. My buddy says if she wants to help her BF commit murder, she should know what she getting into. She gonna have Blood on her hands, we should rub her nose in it.

Remind me of the ime I was in B&E Guns in Cypress, I was picking up a gun when four thugs and a girl came into the store, they were help by the owner and the guys were say, "I take this one, and this one, and that one" and would you know it, the girl did all of the paperwork in her name, they paid cash... people were looking and the store didn't even care...

Later I heard they lost their FFL as well as the son of the owner went to Jail, it was in the Register Newspaper how guns used in crime were trace back to that store (significant quantities).. Sad

Now the Son is out and you see them at the Costa Mesa Gunshow selling old accessories inventory.. no more guns though

I'm glad they got caught. Gun shop owners like that are just in it for the money. They are just like the scum they sold the guns to.
