Ya I like the staff there. They've always been nice to me as well. It was crazy there today, but I didn't see anything blatantly unsafe. I usually like shooting against the wall, as well. My favorite setup is going during off-hours and going to the least busy bay and getting a wall lane.

Have you tried to stand up and shoot your rifle at a hundred yard target? How about prone shooting at the same distance?

How do you like waiting an hour for a bench on the weekend? You gotta admit that sucks.

I dont enjoy the fact my point of aim is obstructed by grass/weeds that grow on that small hill/berm.

You shoot up hill at the 100 yard targets.

      Wind is a major problem..

The walls on the sides of the benches make a rifle with a muzzle brake sound like a cannon.

The RO's are nice guys and try to keep everyone safe I will give em that.

Oh and you gotta luv the fact that the skeet range shoots directly at the rifle range all though its a long ways off. I kinda like looking down at those guys shooting clays in my direction

Yea standing up to shoot at 100 is iffy as the steel hood is a bit low but they had to add it in, in order to re open so people will not shoot over the hill. The closest to prone you will get is sitting down but you cannot go prone at most shooting ranges I have been too. I never have to wait an hour as I get there when they open so I get a bench right away. The grass/weeds that grow on the burm are a non issue to me as they do not obstruct any view nor affect any shooting. You do slightly shoot up hill at 100 yards but it is very minor IMHO. Wind can be problematic sometime but thats just life. Your not going to be out hunting and tel your deer to wait for the wind to die down before you shoot him. It makes for good real world practice. The walls do enhance sound a bit but its nothing compared to an indoor range and it stops brass from hitting me in the head from the next shoot so i'm good with it. Everything you have stated is a non issue for me so I guess thats why I did not understand why you would not like Livermore. I rather Have some grass in my way and be safe than go to Target Masters and feel sick for three days from inhaling lead and powder residue and possibly being shot by the shooter next to me. Not to mention the horrible staff. I know you did not mention Target Masters but I dislike them so much I take ever chance I get to tell people how horrible of an establishment they are.

I would try TM sometime. But crappy lighting seems to be a common problem, I guess.
You can turn the fans on at markleys! People turn them off because they don't like their targets moving but there are switches on the wall to turn them on.

i only go there cuz it's near by...actually i think it's a little cheaper than Reeds...

it's usually pretty cold in there, they got the AC blasting...but seems like it's not on full blast as of late.

yes, its common to get muzzle treatment there when there are noobs...so usually I ask for a lane as far away and least amount of people as possible.

+1 on how late they're open.

most of the staff as of late, are cool, i've met some douches who work there b4

Plus at bullseye you can rapid fire and shoot at the head on a target.

Its about the same distance as target masters.
To clarify. We do not allow .50 cal. But you may rapid fire if you are proficient and are hitting your target and not our equipment.

I've always been told no rapid fire at TM and even double taps are not allowed. How do you go about being allowed to rapid fire.
