Well, for any Ventura County gun owner, we all know of Shooters Paradise or as I like to refer to as, Shooters Hell. I'm sure everyone has there gun shop nightmare story but how is it this particular gun store has become a reoccurring nightmare? My cousin was fortunate to have found a beautiful AK47 from a fellow Calgunner. And mistakenly we mutually chose Shooters Hell for the PPT(for logistical purposes). Well he is currently waiting for a new CA licence so he had brought along his passport and the DMV paper printout which was a no-go,understandably, but this is where it goes downhill. The man helping us was filling out the last of the DROS paperwork and a tag to hold the rifle until my cuz brings in the new DL, when I believe the spawn of Hitler himself repeatedly told the worker to stop helping us, and to help a customer purchasing a Sig. Adolf Jr. then told him that the gun purchase was going to make alot more money than our PPT! So the worker then turns away from us to help the other patron, then mouthed a pathetic "I'm sorry". Almost tweny minutes we were ignored until worker # two comes by for two minutes to ask what we needed, he then informed us to fill out more lines, then left. Worker # three shows up to see if we've been helped. He is told by Jr. to do something else, besides help us. Then the late arrival, # four comes into the mix. After ten minutes of playing catchup we were almost home. Well fortunate for us we wrapped up the last two minutes of work, an hour fifteen minutes upon arrival. This is just one of a million other hellish experiences I've heard involving this hell hole. What a great first gun experience for my cousin! Please do not give these guys the time of day if at all possible. Their rude, cocky, and wayyyy overpriced. Where else can you get .223 Wolf ammo for 12.99 a box! And a standard Socom for $2,099, I could go on. Again please dont let these asses take our hard earned money so they can just ignore you to the highest bidder! Support the good guys! Thanks for reading my rant.

I think this is in the wrong section. -
wrong section...correct info.
I use the gun range weekly if possible...which is NOT owned by the same person. The retail side is leased from the shooting range owner.Comment

I stopped in there once. Didn't spend a dime and have no intention of ever going back there again.NRA Certified Pistol, Rifle, Shotgun and Metallic Cartridge Reloading Instructor

WE ALL KNOW how shooters is, its a joke & always will be. I just feel sorry for the other people that go there and give them there hard earned money. They will get my spit before they ever receive some money from me. We need to spread this out to Calguns Community and
non Calguns. $700 for a new Glock?!! WTF?? Is the trigger and barrel made of pure gold?! Its amazing on how they try and do take advantage of innocent people that aren't really knowledgable of firearms. Boycott Shooters!!

The best part about shooters is the fact that you don't have to go there.Comment

70 seems a bit high to me, but it's understandable because they arent making a profit off the purchase. In my opinion it may be worth the price because it's the best shop I've ever been in as far as the staff's attitude and service.Last edited by ankyle62; 06-15-2011, 11:55 PM.Comment

Blue Line Ammo 25$ PPT. Uncle Pauls is a good shop to, they just take forever to get things done. I bought a rifle at blue line, took less then 10 mins. Almost took me 4 hrs at uncle pauls to get my handgun, but they were super nice.sigpic

First off please everyone remember The shooting range is NOT the same as the retail store... its TWO SEPARATE COMPANIES...TWO SEPARATE OWNERS.
BlueLine is also looking to open a range soon.
I fear Shooters Paradise is getting a bad name since its B&G Guns providing the bad service and high prices.
when the other ranges open up, I will get other memberships, but I will continue to go to SP...I would never spend a dime at the retail store.Comment

Sorry I call bull**** on this, any range that makes me buy there reloads or use green ammo for handguns only due to " air quality control " is a crook. They let people walk in there and shoot of old surplus ammo out of there rifles and shotguns. Not to mention they wont be held accountable if there "reloads" destroy your gun.First off please everyone remember The shooting range is NOT the same as the retail store... its TWO SEPARATE COMPANIES...TWO SEPARATE OWNERS.
