I picked up my stripped lower for an AR15 at Aegis, Aristotle showed me the calgun bag tag and told me to check up this site for more information about the dos and donts of owning a gun in cali. Although their store lacks the inventory of gunsdirect they are more helpful there.

      This is a ridiculous thread.

This is a great example of a growing problem that's been around for years
Nobody ever wants to be responsible for themselves.

You walked into a store, saw something you had to have. And paid the marked price for it. That couldnt BE more "on you".
Name one store or market that when you walk in starts telling you
which of it's products are being sold cheaper somewhere else.

Maybe some of you forgot that the shop isnt there to hold your Weener and make you feel good, educate you, save you money or shop around for you.
As with any Retail establishment in the US , the shop wants to make money.

As for the lock, you again.
Why bring a Reciept for a lock instead of bringing the lock? For no other reason than locking it up during the wait. Anytime your doing something with a gun at a store , bring a lock. Throw one of the 6.00 ones under your seat maybe?

If anything this thread points out what a fail shopper you are. Lol

Bravo. He said it in his first post that he didnt know anything about the value of handguns. Does he also blame the car dealership for selling it higher than the competition down the street?

          AEGIS Burbank all the way!!!

Guys, no need to fight or bicker over nonsense.... Just go to AEGIS half a block down from Guns Direct, for PPT's or anything else about guns and ammo. The guys there are AWESOME! PPT'd the several times already on a lunch breaks, and was in and out in less then 20mins each time! No BS additional LOCK FEES or service fees, just the $35 dros, then super speedy service! Seems like these dudes specialize in PPT's and will have you in and out in a Jiffy! "AEGIS" BURBANK ALL THE WAY!!!!

                We really haven't been...

                Thread started 5/16/11
Thread was dead from 10/17 until 11/21 when it was reopened.

There is a bit of "bad blood" here on Calguns over Guns Direct because people connected with the store were using multiple IDs to shill as "happy customers" even prior to opening.

In one case, a thread was started about the new store, questions were asked and answered, and then suddenly a 2nd userid answered a post (same writing style and tone) and then disappeared from that particular thread... in another thread, that user proudly proclaimed that he was "customer #1" and his bud was #2 when the store opened.

So if it seems like people are bikering over "nothing"... it's not "nothing" in the big picture.
